The Alpha Course

How does Alpha work?

We start each session with refreshments and the chance to get to know one another.

A talk is then given before breaking into small groups.
In those groups you are free to say whatever you think and ask whatever you want to.

Who is Alpha for?

Alpha is for everyone, including those wanting to investigate Christianity, new Christians, and those wanting to brush up on the basics.
It seeks to answer questions such as:

• What’s the point of life?
• What happens when we die?
• Is forgiveness possible?
• What relevance does Jesus have for our lives today?

What does Alpha cover?

• Who is Jesus?
• Did Jesus rise from the dead?
• Why did Jesus die?
• Why and how should I read the Bible?
• Why and how do I pray?
• Who is the Holy Spirit?
• How can I be filled with the Holy Spirit?

Our Alpha Course will begin on Tuesday 15 September, 7.45 pm,

at St Paul’s, Fair Oak Road.
